Welcome, to our new and exciting project. It's all about fun, friendship and fresh air! No matter how young or old you are, we hope you will enjoy taking part in the activities on offer.

the nature trail quest

A great reason for taking some time out to enjoy our marvellous natural environment. The Quest is suitable for all the family, and thanks to Shopmobility, support is available by arrangement for those who would like to use a mobility scooter.

the buddy scheme

If you are over 70 and stuck at home but you would like to get out for a short walk in the fresh air or even have a few holes of golf, why not get in touch and we can tell you all about the buddy scheme.

Dragon Monkey trails are free, fun and interesting routes with ‘trail notes’ to help enjoy, and find out more about whats around you. Each trail has a junior and ‘grown up’ version.

the dragon monkey nature trail

Starts at the Dragon’s Tooth Golf Course, Club House, Ballachulish and follows the cycle track. Although you may be able to complete the nature trail quest in under 30 minutes, we hope you will want to spend far longer enjoying the peace and tranquility of this very special area ... you may also want to try out your Segway skills or have a round of golf!

the glen nevis ‘walk about’

Starts at Café Beag, Glen Nevis. This low level walk follows part of the River Nevis. Allow at least 45 to 60 minutes to complete ... and a bit more if you want to spend time at the ‘Wishing Stone’!

fort william high street trail

Starts at Sugar & Spice, 147 High Street. A great way to find out a little bit more about our local High Street. Allow around an hour for the walk and please do make time to visit the West Highland Museum ... it’s FREE and is packed with fascinating information about our area.
